Application Information

  • Spirit Model Management is an alternative agency based in the UK we represent male and female models that are over 18 years of age.
  • We have no height, age or size restrictions.
  • Spirit only represent models who are based in the following states- England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland and Scotland.
  • We require a copy of your ID upon acceptance for proof of age and as a legal requirement to work in the United Kingdom.
  • We are not a networking, listing or pay to view site.
  • We do not charge an admin/registration/joining fee.
  • All models are expected to sign a contract for the protection of client, model and agency.
  • Spirit is a non exclusive modelling agency.
  • Models are able to work freelance.
  • We take a commission fee of 20% on Film and TV work and charge the client a booking fee for other assignments.
  • Very few model agencies, especially alternative, can guarantee a model work, therefore we do not expect a model to be available full time.
  • We will not give models false hope but will endeavour to do our very best to find you work, it is not in our interest to offer you free work. At times to help you gain experience or develop your portfolio, we offer the opportunity to do unpaid test shoots and TFP. The models are not charged for this and the agency does not earn money from free work (e.g. TFP/CD) offered to the model through the agency. It is simply to help models develop portfolios and models are not obliged to carry out this type of work.
  • We provide models for photographic, promotional, catwalk, music videos and TV/film work.
  • We do not represent adult models or performers.
  • All models must disclose if they have worked in the adult industry when applying.
  • We expect models to have an already established portfolio and must be willing to have a book printed which is needed for castings.
  • Models must be professionally experienced within modelling the industry.
  • The agency reserves the right to dismiss a model due to misconduct at any time.
  • Models need to be flexible and willing to travel to castings, auditions and test shoots, these are usually unpaid and with no expenses.
  • As we are an alternative model agency we like our models to have an interest in the alternative lifestyle.
  • We may feel that your alternative name needs to be altered as we have an image to uphold that needs to be acceptable within the commercial industry as well as the alternative.
  • We cannot accept bondage, gore, horror or sexually explicit images.
  • Models must have a good variety of images in their portfolio; without the required images we need to represent you would be unable to put you forward for castings and host a portfolio on our site.
  • Models Must have permission from photographers fro use of images.
  • When applying we need a good clear amateur headshot showing your hair and a full length image. Please do not use images wearing wigs, eye patches, hats or masks.
  • All models/artists should be responsible for their own tax and national insurance contributions and are recommended to seek advice from the HM Revenue and Customs if they are not already registered as self employed.
  • The agency requires you to submit personal information; which includes bank details, this information will only be used by the agency and not passed onto clients or any third parties.
  • The model must keep the agency updated with any personal changes such as address or phone number.
  • The agency does not edit, manipulate, remove logos/watermarks or claim copyright to the photographs given to the agency by the models.
  • Models are given opportunities to help promote the agency, train or further their career, the agency will not directly benefit from this financially by way of payments from the model or third parties.
  • Occasionaly models will be offered the opportunity to attend workshops for audition and model training, models are not obliged to take part and the agency does not gain financially.
  • Upon acceptance Spirit Model Management would like to advise models against signing contracts that may conflict with both the model and agencies interests, please be aware of contracts that have an exclusivity clause or seek ownership of images, model name or offer small fees which are not regulated as industry standard. Please be aware of the image and reputation that you want to portray as a model.
  • Any images that are supplied to the agency will be used to promote the model and agency, models must have permission or copyright.
  • Models must have a valid passport to make yourself available for working abroad.
  • The model should update the agency with their images when the models appearance changes, for example additional tattoos, piercing; hair colour/cut has changed, weight loss or weight gain, any cosmetic surgery and pregnancy.
  • To appear on the site you must provide the agency with at least 5 portrait images including a headshot for your profile and Z card.
  • These terms and conditions is simply information for applicants and not a contract.
  • We do not always answer applications that are unsuccessful.
  • We keep all applicants details details on file, if we feel that you ever fit the criteria of what a client is looking for, we will contact you.
