We ended 2012 on a high and we keep on rolling in 2013, with a grand finale of filming work with Nancy Roxx interviewing british Comedy actor Chris O’Dowd for Zoom in Babes TV at the London Lingerie catwalk show, Nina Kate and Harley Hazard starred in a Christmas TV Commercial aired in Scandanavia, Tuesday Sakura played the girlfirend to ‘Drop the Lime’ in the music video for their latest track ‘Star Trooper’ which is included on the soundtrack for Tom Cruises new film, ‘Jack Reacher.’ Nancy Roxx also promoted a record companies new releases by visiting offices around London including dropping a pizza off for Kerrang magazine. Beau Rocks modelled for Hell Bunny Clothing and ‘Don’t Tell the Bride’ couple, Terri and Martyn Altilar made a guest appearance in the photobooth at Tattoo Jam. After a well deserved rest we have got straight back into the thick of it with Emz being booked on a top secret clothing and shoe collaboration, Khandie Khisses will be starring in the new ‘Hurt’s video and four of our models also promoted Tattoo Freeze at the event in our home town of a Telford in Shropshire. You are going to see us at a lot more events throughout the year including tattoo shows, the next London Anime Con (were you can meet us on our stand) and festivals. Eclectic Fashion Show

Catriona Stewart, formely known as Kitty Creme latex will be showcasing her new collecion at a charity event in Nottingham on the 15th of October. The 2012 Alternative Nottingham Fashion Show is aiming to raise money for the children’s charity M.H.C.P.of and will be held at the Pitch and Piano Bar from 7.30pm, tickets are £6 on the door.

Catriona designs Latex and bodywear including costume, dancewear, lingerie and corsetry, Made to measure as standard and garments are available to rent.

The fashion show is to create awareness of the poverty that many young people face over all continents from 3rd to 1st world countries. All children have a right to safety, education and fun. Money raised from the sales of tickets and various materials will all go to the M.H.C.P to create developments for young people.

Other designers also include: – FEROX -KAREN MARSH -LADY ALLURA’S LATEX -MICHAEL WALLACE -FASHIONSISTAS -KBC CLOTHING.

The agency will be there supporting our models at the show aswell as scouting new talent.

The event which is in aid of the St. Catherines Hospice is FREE Entry and welcomes all the family.

The day includes over 30 traders, Dandy Von Diamond as DJ, The Vampyre Queen of the Festival Model Competition, horror film actress and model, Eileen Daily to host the catwalk show, models from Spirit Model Management and the best of Alternative designers in the UK showcasing their garments.

Vanity Magazine

We have appeared in Vanity twice in consecutive issues, the most recent being a fashion editorial featuring six of our models based in the North West of England. Photographer Kate Robson put together a piece for The Dressing Room who are based in Wigan, the photoshoot took place at Delamere Forrest in Cheshire with our models, three make up and hair stylists including the staff at Spirit Models to assist with the project. With some beautiful evening gowns in a natural woodland setting, our tattooed, vibrant and pierced models Kate created an unexpected out of the norm ‘look book’ for the clothing company.

The Dressing Room boutique specialise in making beautiful bespoke garments. All of their designs are handmade and unique, designed and made on the premises.

The agency arranged a fashion shoot for Phaze Clothing and Mask Boutique in the cultural and historical town of Ironbridge in Shropshire, It was the perfect setting for gothic, neo victorian clothing with some of our best alternative models who specialise in such genres.

Founded mid 2010, Rebelicious is a UK based alternative fashion & music magazine for women. They feature models, clothing designers, jewellery makers, photographers, illustrators, bands, anyone with a creative side from the alternative community!

Our models appearing in the editorial are Violet Raven, an experienced performer and promotional model, Pandora who walked for us at the Paul Mitchell hair show in 2010 and Elle J Divine who was one of the first cover girls for Vintage Life magazine. The photographer, Salleh Sparrow recently photographed the Access Skateboards campaign and also doubles up as one of our Alternative Fashion models.

We are able to provide ‘Creative Packages’ to clients who are in need of models, a studio, make up artists, videographer, photographer and stylists. Please contact us for our advertising packages for more information.

It has been an amazing year for the agency so far and it just goes to prove that there is a place for Alternative models in the fashion industry! With tattooed models appearing on the catwalk at fashion week around the globe and the popularity of Vintage and Retro models growing the agency just gets bigger and better. We have been non stop over the past few months with a wide variety of work coming in. Becky Holt promoted No Fear Energy Drink at a trade show in Bolton aswell as appearing as a subject on ITV’s new game show ‘Puddle of Trouble’, Lyvia was booked to play hostess at a private party and for the new AxeWound video for their latest single ‘Exochrist’ along with Anita De Bauch, Elle Black, Slane, Brendon Riley and Violet Raven.

Jade Green modelled for contemporary artist Alison Jackson who explores the cult of celebrity in her new BBC book on celebrity culture. Glorian Gray and Khandie Khisses posed for an artistic nude photographic project for the award winning photographer Julia Fullerton-Batten in a 16th century manor house, Ross Kitcher and Hector Jackson were photographed for the new No Fear Clothing range, Samio modelled for Benito’s Brow bar, Mia Merode worked as stand in body double for actress Sheridan Smith during the filming of a trailor for her play at the Old Vic Theater, ‘Hedda Gabler’ Dickie modelled the clothing range for the launch of a new store in Vienna. Amie Loveless and Emz were photographed for the new Skateboarding website, 'Access Skateboards‘, by our very own model and fashion photographer, Salleh Sparrow. Cat Sleigh, Katie Lou and Bethany Parker are appearing in Steve coogan’s new film ‘Northern Soul’ as background artists and Valen vein, AJ, Dani B, Conor, Nina Dateschidze and Steve Tipton appeared as featured characters in a rock music promotional film for Pitstop Productions.

Many more have attended castings and auditions for TV adverts and music videos, our books will be open for one month only from September the 3rd, we are particularly on the look out for more male, glamour and plus sized models.

Spirit Models has teamed up with the Bram Stoker Film Festival and Devolution magazine to bring you a competition to win a feastful of prizes! The winner get’s an article in Devolution magazine, jewellery and other free goodies, free passes to the festival a photoshoot, the chance to appear in a horror film and a 12 month modelling contract with our agency!

The agencies models will also be modelling on the catwalk at the festival’s fashion show to raise money for the St. Catherines hospice. The Face of the Fair

Spirit Models recently held a competition in association with The Alternative and Burlesque Fair, Rubber Monkey Latex and Alt Fashion Magazine.
The event which takes place, three times a year at the Ballroom venue in Birmingham and is run by the Heresy and Heelz events team from the Midlands were looking for their ‘Face of the Fair’. It was incredibly hard to choose from all the amazing and diverse models that turned up for their test photoshoot with Karl Bright and so many of the girls had a lot of potential to represent Spirit. We are pleased to announce the winner of the competition Donatella AKA ‘Domina Sin’, we were impressed with her confidence and her poses infront of the camera for an inexperienced model, she also had a lovely pleasant personality. Donatella conducted herself in a professional manner and we are convinced that she would be a worthwhile asset to the agency.

“It came as such a shock to find out that I had won the competition, I feel so lucky to be working with an agency like SSM so early in my journey into the modeling world. I’m super excited and raring to go!”

Donna win’s a portfolio shoot with photographer Karl Bright, a custom made latex outfit, a feature in Alt Fashion magazine and a 12 month modelling contract with Spirit Model Management.
